Gurleen Pannu is an Indian comedian and writer, known for her sharp observational humor and engaging storytelling. She was raised in Chandigarh, Punjab, and completed her education at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, where she earned a B.Sc. degree in Microbial and Food Technology.
A versatile and dedicated performer, Gurleen excelled academically, becoming the university topper in Microbiology during her undergraduate studies. Alongside her education, she actively participated in the theatre and dramatics club, performing in various talent shows and open mic events.
Her journey into comedy began when she performed at an open mic show organized by a friend—an experience that inspired her to pursue it professionally. Gurleen also enjoys writing scripts, and her work is known for its fresh perspective and intelligent humor.
In 2021, she made her debut in the SonyLIV show Chalo Koi Baat Nahi and went on to work as a writer for the show for two years. The following year, Gurleen appeared in Comicstaan Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video, where she finished as the runner-up, winning a prize of ₹10 lakh.
Since then, Gurleen has been touring across India with her solo stand-up show ‘Pannu Yaar’, winning hearts and laughter everywhere she goes.
